About peptide bioregulators
Peptide bioregulators are very short peptides, usually two to four amino acids long, studied for tissue specific effects on gene expression. Much of the early work on this class was carried out at the Saint Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology.
The collection includes Epithalon and Pinealon, associated with pineal and neural tissue, Thymalin and Vilon, associated with thymic and immune tissue, and Cortagen, associated with cortical tissue. Vesugen, Testagen and Prostamax extend the range to vascular, testicular and prostate tissue models.
Why compare them
Because the sequences are so short and closely related, bioregulators are often studied side by side. The Bioregulator Research Bundle groups three of the most cited compounds for this kind of comparison.
Compounds in this collection
Choosing compounds for your study
Start with the pathway or tissue you want to study, then compare the compound classes listed above. Single compounds give the cleanest readouts, while blends and bundles make combination and comparison studies easier to set up. Every product page lists the compound class, sizes, specifications and storage guidance.
Storage and documentation
Products in the bioregulators collection ship lyophilized or sealed, protected from light, with a batch number on every vial. Move vials to cold storage on arrival and request the certificate of analysis for your batch through our contact page.
Common questions
What is a peptide bioregulator?
A peptide bioregulator is a very short peptide, often two to four amino acids, studied for tissue specific effects on gene expression in laboratory models.
How are bioregulators supplied?
All bioregulators are supplied as lyophilized powder in sealed vials, usually 10mg or 20mg.
Are bioregulators for human use?
No. They are sold for laboratory research use only.
Do these products ship with a certificate of analysis?
Every vial has a batch number linked to a certificate of analysis. Send us your order and batch number and we will send the record.
How should I store products from this collection?
Store sealed lyophilized vials at -20 °C and protected from light. Move them to cold storage as soon as they arrive.
